Welcome to Harris & Rose Interiors, specialists in bespoke curtains, blinds, cushions and soft-furnishings.

Using traditional hand-sewn methods I provide a bespoke, made-to-measure service giving you the flexibility and creativity to produce something truly unique and personal. Each project I take on is hand crafted in my workshop, just outside of Cirencester, ensuring a high-quality finish.

An initial consultation is given to you in your home to discuss your requirements and establish your style.  The luxury of viewing fabric samples and finishing touches in situ helps to visualise the finished product more accurately, as they can often adopt a different tone depending on the surrounding colours and light available to a room.

As standard all our curtains are hand-sewn with the best quality lining and interlining, this not only gives added warmth to your room but provides the most sumptuous and luxurious finish to your chosen fabric.

We offer a variety of headings for your curtains, different styles suit different rooms and fabrics so this is always something to consider. Where possible we would recommend having your curtains full length, to the floor, as this will elongate your windows and make your room feel bigger.

Hand pleated headings give a really elegant finish to curtains and are most popular as the curtains can be dressed in to their pleats and stack back neatly off of the window to allow as much natural light as possible.

Pencil tape headings offer a more relaxed and informal look.

If you require blackout lining and or/trimming details (i.e. buttons, contrasting leading edge, pompoms etc) please note this in your message.

Measuring Guide – We recommend using a metal tape measure to do this, and please provide measurements in cm.

Curtains on a track – Measure the track from end to end for the width. The drop is from the top of the track to your desired length.

Curtains on a pole – Measure the length of the pole, excluding the finials. The drop is from the eye on the ring to your desired length.

No pole? No problem!
We recommend installing a pole 10-15cm above the window recess, and fixing the brackets 10-15cm either side of the recess. Use this as a guideline for your measurements.
